Fishing Memories

After letting a whole summer go by and not writing a single article orgoing fishing, it is time to get back to pen and paper again. I sold the boat due to my back not being able to take the waves and bouncing around not being able to move the following morning.

Thought about maybe a small flat bottom fishing boat with a small 9.9 motor to fish small lakes, a bubble entered my brain about a pontoon until I saw that a brand new one with everything I wanted on it would run about what I would I would pay for a house.

I got to get back to the lake. It is worse than being hooked on anything, I thought I could shake the feeling, but driving down the Road and see a truck pulling a Bass Boat brings back the memories and maybe get around the smell of gas and oil together when you start the motor in the morning you just can't get that smell out of your nose. There are smells and feeling that you just can not ever shake or forget.

I have set up a four day stay in PICK WICK 2018 this spring in their new deluxe Cabin this April that is going to run $1200 and a buddy that has a small fishing boat where we might be able to get some crappie. This is the first time I have been crappie free in my freezer in over three years.

With the boat gone and no plans on getting another one, the thought entered my mind about all the rods, reels, lures and all the fishing items I've accumulated over the years. My answer was more than likely was would sell everything. My son told me " No" he has about 140 crappie spots in Kentucky Lake and in the Spring could get a pontoon boat and load it up....got my interest real quick all he needs to say when and will have bags packed.
