Saw a few fish chasing some shad are they telling me they are still eating the shad and do I need to hook up a fluke or a top water lure? I will tie on a Buzz Bait just in case don't want to miss out on a big one.
Next cove I started in did not look like it went to far back and I was not going to venture in not knowing what kind of water I would find, but I can throw the Buzz Bait to the back to see if I can get any takers. Do not want to get the boat stuck in the mud and have to call Boat USA to come haul me out. That is something that I have added when I got this Bass Cat. Boat USA Insurance they have a great deal and the part I like is if I break down on the water or get stuck in the mud like I just mentioned they will come pull or tow you out and , they also will take care of you on the road, problems that I might have. Anyway no takers in that cove and I noticed that the wind is starting to pick up and I do not think I will venture out in the river today do not want to tackle the white caps or the four and five foot waves, did not bring my bar of soap do not need another shower right now will head back in and see if the wind will settle down this afternoon.

As I would have it, Mother nature will not cooperate with me and now the rain has set in along with the wind so the weatherman is saying it will be here for a while and I guess I better find another plan I need to go through and seperate and see what I have to many doubles. I am one of those guys when I buy a lure I always make sure I have more than one just in case the fish like the lure and I might lose it and need a back up. I have done that before on the lake and have could have kick my butt for not having a back up lure.

"Holy Mack le", I got lures all over the den here in the cabin to the point I can not even walk with out getting a hook in the foot did not realize I had spread them out that much. I forgot to clear a path to walk...sure glad did not have to make a mad dash to the bathroom. Took me about three hours to clean up that mess, but it had to be done and at least I got those lure separated and I know what I can send home with my Son.

Well that shot this afternoon and it is time to start dinner and I am not that hungry so guess I will just have a cup of soup tonight and a ham sandwich. Got the kitchen all cleaned up and will watch a little TV before bed and hope the morning will bring better weather so I can go look for some fish.
