Bass Fishing Hog Brag Board

The Bass Hog Bragging Board is where you can do some bragging about your catch by having me post pictures of your Bass Hog.

Use my contact form to receive the email address to use to send your pictures to me.

Sorry about the extra step but like you, I try to eliminate receiving junk mail from the mailbots out there.

When you get the return email from me, include the following:

Your name, location fished, weather conditions and the date your bass hog fish were caught.

I'll be happy to help you have fun bragging about your luck out on the lake.

Keep The Hooks Wet!

John Paricka Has The Knack For Landing Bass Hogs

bass caught by John Paricka using a spinnerbait and a top water bait

Looks like John Paricka from Waterloo, Iowa is having a great time using various baits in his hunt for bass hogs.

 Carson Is Learning Fast

Carson Remembered To Set The Hook and Keep The Line Tight

We have another up and coming angler who took to bass fishing right away. Carson landed a beauty then practiced Catch and Release

J Ben Troutman's two beauties pictured below shows he knows how to listen to the bass hogs talk

First bass was a fourteen pounder caught on a sinking yum junebug colored 8 inch stick worm at 2:30 pm on 10 lb berkley xl with a 2/0 red lazer hook in mid-May.

Second bass shown below was a 11 pounder caught on a slow cranked blue top, silver bottom, single rattle, double tri-hook, shallow diver that I bought on a discount rack with no name brand and sat in my car for two years til someone reminded me it was there.

The fight cracked it open so now it sinks. Also at mid day but in april over a group of nests, as can be assumed by that large bulging belly of eggs.

I need to upgrade my scale because it only has pounds and have since figured out it underweighs by about two to three pounds. But my report is what the scale said.

Quin Rowell and Junebug Senko = Big Kid Landing Nice Bass

Quin Rowell lands 4 Pounder Bass

I keep to my word and try and take a kid fishing and this one is a senior citizen that is hooked on bass fishing.

Quin Rowell caught this pretty fish in my little secret
fishing hole.

It was just as the sun was going down with the air temp about 85 and the water temp 88 degrees. He caught the 4 pound 3 ounce bass using a Junebug
Senko (Bass Pro) brand in about 6 feet of water.

All in all we caught about 20 fish using Senko's , Junebug Worms, and of course the Kicker Fish Bait Company Explodin Toad.

Quin Rowell, Enid Lake and The Shaky Head Jig = Big Kid Learning Fast - June 2010

Quin Rowell Landing Bass Hog Using Shakey Head

Quin Rowell one of Basshogfishing buddies found out that I do not just talk the talk, but walk the walk when we went to Enid Lake and Quin nailed this nice 4 pound 3 ounce Bass just before sunset.

This was the first time that Quin used the Shaky Head and the day after, he still has a problem trying to figure out how that little hook got that big Bass.

The air temp was 80 degrees and the water temp was 86 degrees.

We were using the Shaky Head Jig with a June Bug Zoom Worm.
