My Son has got hooked on this bass fishing and we are on the way to Pick Wick the last week of June for all week and I will have pictures and more to write then. OH his Step Daughter wants to know if the boat can pull a tube?


Well we set up for a five day trip to stay at Pick Wick State Park and that started on a Monday morning seeing we arrived at the lodge to check in about 10:10am and was told we could not get into the cabin until 4pm that is the first time that has ever happened. I explain that they have always let us in early.

We went and worked on the boat and returned at 12:30 to again try to get in and I had made up my mind if they again refuse to let us in, we would look else where to find a place to stay. After 20 something years I have never been treated that way, but they did let us in. We got everything in the cabin and got the boat to the cabin and decided to make sure the batteries were all charged up and ready for the morning venture out gas up and the heat was here with us had to be at least 99 degrees.

The next morning started at 3:30am with a hearty breakfast and then off to the lake. Check out some of my morning hot spots that did nothing for us at all not showing a thing on the graphs either. We proceeded toward the river to the deeper water and still nothing. Saw a lot of other boats and the same thing nothing was going on with them either. Everyone was headed for the deepest water they could find and it was getting crowed in a small area.
Found out some High School was having a four day tournament and there were plenty of boats on the water and every one seems to be in deep water.
All my honey holes are dried up, meaning saw no fish and nothing on the graphs. Every spot  we stopped at nothing and I mean nothing at first I thought my graphs were not working, have never seen a graph with a blank screen, and I mean BLANK.
