Bass Fishing Red Eye Shad Crankbait

Bass Fishing Red Eye Shad CrankbaitI know it has been a while since I have talked with you about New Product, but Strike King has done it again.

The new Red Eye Shad that they have come up with and made available at Bass Pro is a lip less Crankbait that is a must in your tackle box. It is called the Sexy Shad and Kevin Vandam has been using them for about a year.

I made a trip to Pick Wick Lake this past week end, June 27-29, 2008, and was fishing with a buddy.

I was using a Chrome and Blue Rattle Trap at Panther Creek where we found some great water and the grass was just below the surface.

The water Temp was 84 and I knew it had to hold some fish. My buddy whipped out this new Sexy Shad and in no time he was boating some bass before I caught my first fish. I tried different rattle traps and they did not hold a candle to this new lure.

The Sexy Shad colors really look natural, even in stained water.

The new Red Eye Shad designed by Strike King Pro Staff has a unique Shad-Style body, 3-D Eyes and a free floating rattle that fools the fish every time out.

I have been reading and watching Kevin Vandam using this shad at different Tournaments and he has proven it to work. If you do not have any in your tackle box, I am stating that they work. I know this sounds like a commercial, don't buy it until I try it, but I am telling you they work. I would say that for every one bass I caught this weekend my buddy caught 8 bass.

Do not forget in my earlier articles where I tell you if you buy a lure, always get a back up just in case. I know once you try this lure you will stock up on them and try the different colors. He was using the Chrome and Blue with a yellow stripe down the side.

Do not forget to let me know how you are doing and if they are not biting. Let me know and maybe we can come up with a new solution to get those Bass Hog to take your lure.

I know right now the weather is hot, but morning and evenings are the time to go. The reason I am telling you this two weeks ago I was catching fish in the morning and now they have changed to the evenings.

Be sure you let me know about how well the Sexy Shad is working for you.
